Role Summary:

The main duty in this position is to prevent stockouts and overstocks by making sure that the appropriate stock coverage is met in accordance with SLAs. The supply chain controller assures error-free scheduling, maintains accurate stockout prediction trackers, and works closely with many stakeholders to remain on top of demand, container planning, and OpCos stock levels. The supply chain controller is also anticipated to contribute original ideas and guarantee ongoing development of the general sales and operations planning procedure.

What you should anticipate doing:

• Weekly stock position update and analysis for the operational companies:
• Examine the stockout prediction tracker, keep consumers informed of overstocks and stockouts, and make recommendations for their prevention
• tracking of containers’ ETAs (Estimated Time of Arrival) and their effect on stock position on a continuous basis
• Keep tabs on shifts in demand, how they impact the supply situation, and let others know how they might have an impact on the production schedule.
• Compare sales projections with actual sales.
• Planning: You will schedule containers to markets each week when there is a chance of stockouts.
• Create and deploy control metrics that will assist in achieving our clients’ stock coverage SLAs.
• Create payment arrangements for your clients to assist with cash flow management and ensure the smooth continuation of your supply chain activities.
• the creation of presentations for monthly executive S&OP meetings
• Launch data automation initiatives with the goal of reducing errors.
• Ad hoc projects and tasks support for the Supply Chain Control Team

What we’re searching for

• a bachelor’s degree in any related field, such as business administration, logistics, or supply chain
• Have at least two to three years of experience in supply chain management or a closely related subject, and be familiar with demand-supply planning.
• fluent in both English and French.
• Good spreadsheet skills and knowledge of PowerBI are advantages.
• proactive, detail-oriented, possess good analytical and mathematical abilities, and have a strong desire to learn new technical skills.
• the capacity to prioritize work and work under pressure
• Problem-solving mentality: Recognize issues and take the initiative to address them.
• a positive, roll-up-your-sleeves approach to getting things done.
• Excellent interpersonal skills are needed to establish connections both internally (B2B) and externally (B2C).
