USAID professionals are needed by DT Global in the following fields:

Technical Leads, Long-Term and Short-Term: Access to Markets Expert

  • Improved market linkages can help the agricultural sector grow faster by utilizing a market systems development approach.
  • assist large agribusiness companies in creating effective smallholder farmer out-grower programs, including processors and off-takers.
  • Help agricultural businesses access new consumers and domestic and international markets.
  • access to financial and investment professionals

Ensure that agricultural businesses have access to financing and investment so they can grow their businesses, create new products, and attract more customers.

  • Develop innovative financing options for agricultural businesses, including blended finance structures, with the help of financial institutions and investors.
  • Increase the ability of banks, investment funds, MFIs, DFIs, savings and loans organizations, and other financial actors to organize financing deals for agricultural SMEs.
  • Enhance the ability of regional business advisory service (BAS) providers to support local agriculture SMEs in negotiating and concluding finance deals.

Qualifications:

Advanced Positions

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline is the bare minimum for schooling;
  • Master’s degree in a related discipline is the preferred level of education;
  • minimum of 8–10 years of relevant experience, particularly with knowledge of Kenyan and/or East African setting;
  • Experience managing donor-funded initiatives in a comparable setting is essential; Experience with USAID is preferred;
  • English fluency is necessary, as are excellent communication abilities both in writing and speaking.
  • Kenyan citizens are encouraged to apply strongly.

Positions in the Middle

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline is the bare minimum for schooling;
  • Master’s degree in a related discipline is the preferred level of education;
  • Minimum of 4–7 years of relevant experience, preferably in Kenya or another East African country.
  • Required: Previous involvement in similar donor-funded projects; Experience with USAID is preferred;
