In a dynamic environment that is expanding quickly, Impossible Foods is looking for a versatile Corporate Accounting Manager to join our expanding team and assist us in scaling for the future. The entirety of the monthly closure procedures, financial and management reporting procedures, financial systems, audits, and business assistance are handled by our corporate accounting team. The ideal person is a top performer who is well-rounded, organized, detail-oriented, and has an analytical mindset while also being able to pick up new skills and adjust to changes. Working closely with business partners, especially cross-functional teams, is the responsibility of the corporate accounting manager.

Important job duties:

  • To produce internal management reporting and financial statement support, provide timely and correct month-end close financials, including associated closing processes such balance sheet reconciliations, variance analysis, and analytical reviews.
  • Conduct monthly, quarterly, and year-end accounting close activities with the team under your direction.
  • Approve the financial statements’ journal entries and account reconciliations.
  • From an operational and technical standpoint, create scalable accounting procedures to shorten the end-to-end closing cycle.
  • Create and maintain internal control procedures and accounting policies.
  • aid in the preparation and organization of audit requests as well as continuing assistance for external audit
  • Assigned activities include assisting management with special initiatives, ad hoc reporting and analytical requirements, and other duties.

Basic requirements:

  • With a minimum of six years of progressive accounting experience in a high-growth setting
  • Experience in both private and public companies is preferred.
  • BA/BS in Finance or Accounting
  • Required is a CPA (or foreign equivalent).

preferred credentials:

  • exceptional modeling and analytical abilities, including sophisticated Excel skills and the capacity to quickly manage and analyze huge data sets.
  • a determined mindset that prioritizes control, continual development, and a strong sense of ownership, responsibility, teamwork, and collaboration.
  • the capacity to understand and manage ERP data models and reporting features (preference for SAP experience)
  • strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal abilities
  • a self-starter mindset with experience successfully managing teams

$99,200 – $157,000 a year

The above base salary range plus equity and benefits are offered for this full-time position with a U.S. base. Individual compensation falls within the range and is influenced by the job’s location as well as other elements including the candidate’s education, experience, and job-related abilities.
