The Role

Work as a Senior HR Operations Analyst, EMEA/APAC in Mozilla’s People Team in our Berlin office to advance your career. In order to improve the working conditions for Mozilla employees in the EMEA and APAC areas, we are seeking a pleasant, considerate, and tenacious HR expert.


  • Organize immigration and relocation to and from EMEA/APAC
  • To guarantee that employees are paid accurately and on time, collaborate with our internal payroll team.
  • Up to three months following their departure, fill out the Germany Employment Agency form for any former workers.
  • As necessary, represent EMEA and APAC on Workday and other HR system projects.
  • Manage procedures including employment verification, LOA verification, coordination with government agencies, payroll, health insurance, and document filing / storage.
  • Process terminations in collaboration with the Global People Operations team, Payroll, and Legal
  • Employee changes, such as new hiring, terms, leaves of absence, promotions, etc., should be entered in Workday.
  • Support the “wet signature” procedure in Germany and organize signatures among European subsidiaries
  • Working 1-2 days a week in the Berlin office is required to help with staff engagement and demands.


  • Control our outside brokers to make sure that our benefits and pension coverage adhere to different EMEA/APAC legislation.
  • Coordinate requests for employee departures, benefit adjustments, and other matters with the global people operations and payroll team.
  • In charge of managing EMEA/APAC vendors, including bills, renewals, compliance, and legislation changes regarding benefits, compensation, and vacations.
  • Control the LOA procedure for EMEA and APAC.
  • On a regular basis, offer a local new hire entire rewards orientation.
  • Organize an annual benefits roadshow
  • serve as a resource for the administration of benefit plans and the interpretation of human resources policies. Inform people about new policies and/or modifications to current ones.
  • Promote regional best practices in EMEA and APAC.


  • Coordinate with the Global Compensation team on any needs or demands that are unique to EMEA or APAC, particularly those regarding compensation.
  • Consult as necessary on EMEA/APAC offerings that don’t follow the rules
  • When it comes to merit-based promotions and pay modifications for employees across EMEA and APAC, provide advice as needed.
  • Profile in the Workplace

The ideal applicant will possess:

  • Having worked in HR for five years in Germany and being familiar with the norms in other EMEA nations. willing to learn more about the APAC region.
  • Experience with conventional pay matrices and benefits programs in Germany and, more broadly, EMEA and/or APAC, of at least 2-3 years
  • Developed proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Suite
  • practical knowledge of HR procedures, salary, benefits, and people operations
  • Having the ability to oversee outside vendors to make sure Mozilla offers benefits and remuneration that are enjoyable for employees
  • Excellent attention to detail and effective follow-up techniques
  • Ability to exercise caution and protect confidentiality
  • the capacity to act flexibly and change with the surroundings quickly
  • Experience with Workday or similar HRIS is preferred.
  • To assist in managing the many paperwork from German government authorities, professionals with fluency in both English and German are required.
