Objectives and the mission
Under the current country program, UNICEF Rwanda will support five priorities listed under the National Strategy for Transformation’s social transformation pillar, which is guided by the 2030 Agenda’s principle of “leaving no one behind”: Achieving a modern Rwandan family,
(a) ensuring access to high-quality health care for all,
(b) reducing malnutrition,
(c) ensuring access to and enhancing the quality of education,
(d) reducing child mortality, and
(e) fostering resilience

- The major duties of the UN Volunteer will fall under the direct supervision of the HR Specialist and will include: Recruitment:
- support the development and oversight of the recruitment plan
- aid in identifying the bottleneck
- the long list of candidates
- Documentation preparation related to selection
- Prepare communications pertaining to recruitment.
- assistance with selection reports Development and Learning:
- the planning and execution of group trainings
- study of effective and affordable learning tools that help employees advance their knowledge and abilities. assistance in career development
- In charge of performance
- assistance in giving pertinent information to aid in performance management
- Encouragement for the development plan’s improvement
- Assist with the 360 project execution Onboarding:
- aiding with the training and integration of new hires
- Maintain the induction program. Employee Wellbeing:
- Monitor the progress of the action plan for the global employee survey
- support for enhancing diversity and inclusion
- Help with the creation of the staff retreat Country Programme Management Plan (CPMP) preparation:
- Prepare the necessary paperwork in order to prepare the CPMP.
- Support for employees when needed Working Group on Interagency Human Resources:
- assistance with meeting and minute preparation
- help with the activity tracking
- Support the interagency consultant roster’s population Knowledge Exchange and Data Gathering:
- Assist in enhancing knowledge sharing within the team and with the office.
- HR data should be gathered, interpreted, and analyzed to aid in decision-making on HR plans and tactics.
- To improve data quality, aid in the creation and implementation of data collection systems.

Nationality
The applicant must be a citizen or a resident in good standing of the country of assignment.
Requirements

- 3 years of business administration and human resources management experience
