In order to assure the effectiveness of investment activities, the IT department supports Finance in Motion’s business strategy by offering secure automation tools. All internal systems and cloud service providers used by the organization are designed, managed, and supported by it. In order to further automate and optimize company processes through the provision of solid software solutions, we are seeking a company Analyst to join our team in the Frankfurt office. Additionally, we anticipate that our new colleague will play a significant part in a BA competence center.
Important Responsibilities
- Play a crucial part in creating an interface between the company’s business and IT groups.
- Knowing business requirements determine business requirements and convert them into technology solutions.
- Engage in pragmatism and assist business teams in delivering high-quality solutions quickly.
When participating in a project:
- play a crucial role in controlling and establishing business needs from the time of their conception until their realization
- Plan and/or conduct your own UAT.
- carry out numerous analyses, such as a “build or buy” decision support, a “software market analysis,” a BIA (Business Impact Analysis), etc.
- Participate in the creation of user training and communication materials.
- Establish and facilitate a productive discussion between BAs of business units to better understand needs, challenges, and opportunities with a view to assisting initiatives that provide the most value to the business and, in turn, aid in attaining FiM’s objectives.
- Owning, maintaining, and continuously enhancing BA processes, procedures, and tools, supporting with internal and external trainings, and supporting the strategic role of the BA Forum are all ways to act as a BA competency center.
- As a member of the Project Management unit, assist with various tasks aimed at enhancing and developing PM procedures and tools.
What we anticipate
- Significant relevant work experience as a business analyst; prior product owner experience is also advantageous. in the financial or related industries
- SCRUM experience is a major benefit, as is knowledge of other techniques.
- Experience in business impact analysis, build versus buy, and cost/benefit analysis is a huge advantage.
- Knowledge with Azure DevOps and the Power Platform / Automate would be highly advantageous, as would familiarity with MS products like as SharePoint and Teams.
- advanced user of tools from the BA, including process designer and mock-up builder
- outstanding intellectual and problem-solving abilities
- superior abilities in communication, both verbally and in writing, especially technical writing
- Possessing a creative mindset and a team player attitude
- very effective interpersonal skills
- German is a plus, as is fluency in both spoken and written English.
