Both the Head of Credit Business and the Head of Savings & E-business will receive reports from the Regional Manager. By giving leadership to numerous branches in the area, carrying out the business plan, and ensuring compliance, s/he will be in charge of fostering commercial growth.

Details of Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure that the region meets and surpasses its annual targets for the number of clients, e-Banking products, Portfolio, PAR, and VSP users.
  2. Ensure that regional branches recover written-off loans in compliance with PML’s loan recovery policies.
  3. Verify that all information in the system complies with CRB criteria for all branches in the area.
  4. Assist branches in creating goals and spending plans. These budgets must include branch activity, including revenues, costs, clients, loans, and other factors.
  5. Assist in individual loan appraisals with the branch credit committees in accordance with the Credit Policies.
  6. Conduct timely performance reviews of all regional employees, and handle or coordinate staff welfare concerns in the area.
  7. Work with the Administration and Procurement department to coordinate administration and procurement activities in the area.
  8. Work with the Senior Manager, Credit Products, to coordinate the process/verification of securities and relevant security documentation.
  9. Participate in Pride product promotions that have been given the go-ahead as well as other social gatherings to improve the company’s reputation in the area.
  10. Respond to client issues that were submitted orally or via the suggestion box.
  11. Prepare and send field reports on regional activity on a weekly, monthly, and other sporadic basis to the Senior Manager, Credit Products.

Person Requirements:

  • Must be capable of working under pressure to fulfill tough deadlines. Must be responsible, intelligent, and industrious.
  • should have great management and leadership abilities.
  • Must be sincere, reliable, and possess a high level of integrity.
  • No older than 45 years old is acceptable.
  • Minimum educational requirements and work experience: a postgraduate diploma in a comparable discipline.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, microfinance, development economics, development studies, business studies, accounting and finance, marketing, financial services, business computing, business statistics, entrepreneurship & small business management, social science, SWASA, education, or any other pertinent or related field.a minimum of four years in a comparable or equivalent position.
