Boston University Presidential Scholarship for International Students
The Board of Admissions presents the Presidential Scholarship each year to our incoming first-year students who exhibit extraordinary academic success. Presidential Scholars are among our brightest students academically, but they also go above and above the call of duty to lead their schools and communities. It is possible to complete up to four years of undergraduate education at BU with this $25,000 tuition scholarship.
How to Apply
No further application materials, essays, or forms are necessary. By December 1, students who want to be considered for the Presidential Scholarship must submit their application and accompanying documentation.

Details on the Scholarship:
Boston University is a private research institution located in Boston, Massachusetts. Despite being nonsectarian, the university has a long-standing connection to the United Methodist Church.
It was established in 1839 by Methodists, with its initial campus located in Newbury, Vermont. In 1867, it relocated to Boston.
Scholarship Requirements:
In order to be eligible for the scholarship, you must:
- international first-year students who have excelled in their academic studies.

Scholarship Length and Compensation
It is possible to complete up to four years of undergraduate education at BU with this $25,000 tuition scholarship.

- Typical Application
- Records from secondary schools
- Grades for Senior Year
- Form for School Reports and Counsellor Recommendations
- Evaluation of Teachers
- Results of the English proficiency test
- Records of Financial Support
- Copy of Passport Data Page
- Tests that are uniform (optional)
