PATH’s Product Development division has been newly formed, bringing together the Center for Vaccine Innovation and Access, Diagnostics, and Medical Devices and Health Technologies departments under the leadership of the Chief Scientific Officer. These departments have decades of experience improving health equity through the research, development, and scale of diagnostics, medical technologies, and vaccines. We work in partnership with national health ministries, pharmaceutical and device manufacturers, donors, international financing and regulatory organizations, and many others to advance access to technologies suited for use in low-resource settings. The products that we have helped develop and deliver have saved lives and enhanced health for hundreds of millions of people around the world.
PATH is currently recruiting for a Strategy Officer who will report to the Chief Scientific Officer. The Strategy Officer role will be a critical resource for expanding and accelerating the Chief Scientific Officer’s impact, both internally and externally, and will support building the division with its leaders.
Responsibilities
Support Chief Scientific Officer (CSO) on strategic, operational, and daily business matters to ensure effectiveness of Product Development (PD) division.
Manage a close relationship with PD division leadership to support and track the delivery of the PD division goals.
Help frame strategy for PD, aligned with overall PATH mission and goals.
Working across programs, coordinate analytics and communications at the divisional level.
Manage the PD Leadership Team meetings by soliciting agenda items, capturing outcomes, and tracking progress on priority actions.
Connect across divisions to build and maintain relationships with peers to stay updated and align priority activities with other divisions.
Help track and prepare CSO for external engagements including briefings and presentations.
Required skills and experience

Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5+ years of experience supporting projects and initiatives.
Experience working in public health or product development sector.
Strong project management skills and ability to think strategically.
Experience working in international multicultural environments.
Ability to work independently and across multiple time zones.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).
Must have legal authorization to work in the US, UK, or Switzerland. Fully remote candidates will be considered.

We offer our employees a competitive salary and generous benefits. For candidates based in the U.S., the annual salary range for this position is $80, 000-$100, 000. The final salary is based on a variety of objective factors. PATH provides a comprehensive benefit package that includes 15 vacation, 11 holiday, 2 personal and 12 sick days per year; medical and dental plans; life insurance; disability and retirement benefits.
