The Senior Recruiter will have primary oversight of sourcing efforts to identify the best candidates to be named in proposals for donor-funded programs globally. The Senior Recruiter will focus on sourcing, candidate identification, networking, and relationship building. The Senior Recruiter will work closely with the broader New Business Development team on networking and employing traditional sourcing strategies, plus developing new, creative recruiting approaches to attract competitive talent.

Your Background & Skills
Bachelor’s Degree.
8+ years of progressive work experience, including recruitment experience in the international development industry preferred.
Business Development Experience.
Experience leading USAID and other donor proposal recruitment required Demonstrated experience with sourcing of passive candidates.
Proven track record of engaging in multiple simultaneous recruitment efforts and managing or supporting the entire recruitment cycle.
Self-directed and ability to thrive and meet deadlines in fast paced environment Experience using tools such as LinkedIn, Ultipro and online job boards are a plus.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required.
Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize work.
Excellent writing skills and proven communication, interviewing and interpersonal Skills Fluency in other languages is an asset.
Ability to employ a high level of confidentiality in handling candidate information.
Must demonstrate valid proof of unrestricted authorization to work in their country of residence.
Your Daily Tasks
Serve as the lead recruiter on proposal teams and manage live and upcoming recruitment activities.
Work with proposal teams to develop staffing strategies.
In coordination with senior technical staff, determine finalist candidates based on proposal criteria and anticipated project needs.
Conduct salary and allowance negotiations with candidates.
Supervise and manage recruitment officer(s) on NBDU team.
Maintain effective working relationships with broader NBDU staff to ensure understanding and support for short- and long-term recruiting needs.
Represent IREX to Manage communication with contacted and proposed candidates in order to develop long-term relationships.
Conduct proactive candidate outreach; screen and interview candidates.
Develop and maintain a broad range of external networks, research and source new recruiting avenues within specialized fields, develop and sustain internal and external contacts in an effort to build a pipeline of strategic technical area experts.
Participate and collaborate in ad hoc projects.
Works with NBDU to confirm accurate salary information for cost Conducts competitive salary negotiations with proposed staff.
Represent IREX to candidates.
Perform other duties, as assigned.
We conduct background checks on all successful candidates.
This position is eligible for Remote work. The eligible employee is regular, full-time staff who works from a worksite outside the IREX office on a more permanent or ongoing basis.
