We are best known for the LobbyMap platform, which analyses corporate lobbying on climate policy and biodiversity loss. Other work streams include the FinanceMap platform, assessing the financial sector. Our work has been featured in the media globally, used by hundreds of investors, and informed numerous campaigns. You will work with our global network of partners who are helping develop our cutting-edge content, shaping team culture as we evolve as an organization.
About this Role
This is an exciting, entry-level position to join our growing Tech team working in the UK and supporting our Team worldwide.
You will be a key member of our team, supporting our users, their laptops and supporting hardware. This is an opportunity to establish a well-managed system of support and maintenance, in which you will be the key point of contact.
Your responsibilities will include:
remote monitoring of laptop performance
timely implementation of updates and patches
procurement, renewal, and upgrade of hardware
development and maintenance of a growing inventory of assets
support for our growing team of analysts
You will report to our Technical Director and work closely with our Operations Manager, and our Teams in the UK, Japan, Korea, Australia, and the US.
Requirements
To be successful in this role at InfluenceMap, you should have:
Outstanding knowledge of current Windows and Linux Systems
Excellent communication skills to patiently guide users through procedures remotely
Agile problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
Strong and logical planning and organization
Fluent in English
Right to work in the UK

This is a full-time employment, starting as soon as possible
InfluenceMap’s UK office is located in central London. Our policy allows flexible remote working, so being based elsewhere in the UK is possible
Salary from £24K, dependent on experience
24 days of annual leave per year and an extra day of paid holiday after each year of service (capped at 29 days)
