Job Summary

As the Business Manager with a Legal Background, you will be a key player in our organization, responsible for overseeing business operations while ensuring legal compliance. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of business strategy, finance, and legal matters, with the ability to navigate complex regulatory environments.

  Job Description/Requirements
  Duties & Responsibilities:

Legal Compliance:

Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations relevant to our industry.
Review and draft contracts, agreements, and legal documents to protect the interests of the organization.

Business Operations:

Oversee day-to-day business operations and identify opportunities for process improvement.
Collaborate with department heads to develop and implement strategic plans that align with organizational goals.

Financial Management:

Work closely with the finance team to monitor budgets, and financial performance, and ensure fiscal responsibility.
Analyze financial data to inform decision-making and drive business growth.

Risk Management:

Identify and assess potential legal and business risks and develop strategies for mitigation.
Implement risk management processes to safeguard the organization’s assets and reputation.
Leadership and Collaboration:
Provide leadership and guidance to cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
Collaborate with legal counsel and external advisors as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, or a related field. MBA or certificate in legal practice is a plus.
• Over five years of experience in a business management role, with a legal background.
• In-depth knowledge of business operations, finance, and legal compliance.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  Ability to think strategically and make sound business decisions.
  Familiarity with trading/ manufacturing industry is preferred yet not mandatory.
  Membership in a relevant professional association or certification
